My name is Aaron Johnson.  I received my teaching degree in early childhood education and have been teaching for nine years. I am passionate about helping children unlock their potential and discover the joy of learning with Christ as the center of their lives.

I knew I wanted to be a teacher in the fifth grade! Graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Elementary Education. I’ve been teaching off and on in different capacities for about 14 years. I have homeschooled my son, co-taught another family, taught in early childhood education, helped start a school overseas as well as taught here in the public school system. I’ve been in and out of Uganda since 2004 and spent 7 years as a full-time missionary there. It is my other home and the other half of my heart. We’ve been stateside for 4 years now and I love the new journey Father has us on. I absolutely love teaching here at FLA and am beyond excited to see what Father has in store for the school and students. One of my greatest passions is for young people to walk in their authority of who they are in Christ, to know His voice and His heart for them.

My name is Emma Barr. I am the 4th and 5th Grade Teacher for Faith Life Academy. This is my second year as a teacher at Faith Life Academy and my eleventh year of teaching in total. Previously, I worked for 9 years as a teacher in the public school system. My husband and I have been married since June 2018 and started attending Faith Life Church in September 2018. We welcomed our first little girl in September 2021 and had our second little girl in April 2023. I love Faith Life Academy, Faith Life Church, and the community we get to be a part of. I am so excited to see how God continues to move in all of our lives!

My name is Sherry Simone. I have over twenty years of teaching experience in elementary school. Before coming to Faith Life Academy I taught for two years at an Ohio public online school. Prior to that I taught 5th grade for eleven years at Tree of Life Christian Schools. I received my bachelors and masters degrees in Elementary Education from Harding University, a Christian college in Searcy, Arkansas. It is an honor to be at FLA where we have the freedom and privilege to teach through the lens of God’s Word.

Hello, my name is Mr. Bridges “The Man” and I am currently the Middle School and High School History Facilitator. I also serve as the Music Instructor for grades K-12. I have taught in the public school district for over 13 years. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Music Performance. I went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Elementary, Middle School, and High School Education from William Carey University. I have also been a preacher of the wonderful gospel for over 21 years. I married the love of my life and we have a beautiful little girl. I’m so excited to see what great things each year has in store for everyone here at Faith Life Academy!

Hello! My name is Natasha Bowman. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, while double minoring in Psychology & Sociology, from Capital University. I later earned my Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University. Prior to employment with Faith Life Academy, I held positions within the Columbus City School District (where I discovered my passion for teaching), the Child Welfare and Juvenile Court Systems, the Columbus Police department, as well as in behavioral/mental health services and risk management. It brings me great joy to work in a unique, supportive environment, where staff can truly nurture the heart, mind, and soul of each student.

My Name is Dr. Angela (Angie) Kreuter. I teach Science to the Middle And High school students at Faith Life Academy. I received a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and subsequently a PharmD degree from the Ohio State University. I have worked in healthcare for the past 17 years. I love being a mom and have two boys ages 8 and 11.  Given recent demands and changes to healthcare, my husband and I decided it was best for me to step away. I didn’t realize that I was stepping out of that and into this incredible opportunity to teach and influence young hearts. I am beyond excited and blessed that God has opened this door for me.  It is truly an honor and pleasure to be a part of Faith Life Academy.

Hello, My name is Nate Simpson. I'm the Physical education teacher here at Faith Life Academy, With an academic background in Early Childhood Development from Ohio Dominican University. My heart is deeply entrenched in empowering our youth, not just through physical education but also through spiritual guidance and mentorship. With an active dedication to youth sports for over nine years.Through this, I share my passion for sports while instilling discipline, teamwork, and resilience in the next generation. My love for Indian food is second only to the unwavering love I possess for Jesus Christ and my beautiful Wife and 4 children. My aim is to inspire, nurture and help shape the young minds of tomorrow.

My name is Cierra Henry. I am the Middle School and High School Media and Creative Arts Teacher for Faith Life Academy. This is my first year as a teacher at Faith Life Academy and my sixth year of teaching in total. My husband and I have been married since November 2022. I started attending Faith Life Church in July 2013 and have been on staff of Faith Life Church as the Media Production Manager since 2016. I love Faith Life Academy and Faith Life Church, and I am honored to be able to share the joy and fun of Media and Creative Arts with the students!

I love Jesus, art and kids! Being an enthusiastic Art Teacher through Faith Life Home Educators for the past four years, I have great passion for teaching your children. It gives me incredible joy to see the students light up when they see the project that they have accomplished and deep satisfaction in knowing that I had a small part in the process. As an accomplished artist with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Art, my professional experience has spanned decades. The Holy Spirit has directed me to Faith Life Academy to unleash innovation, develop confidence in your children, and to encourage personal expression and love for the Lord.

My name is Matt Conrad. I teach Middle and High School Math at Faith Life Academy. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Environmental Conservation) from Rogers State University in Claremore Oklahoma. This is where I fell in love with not only Science, but also Math. In the last 3 years, I have worked for Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to that, I spent 8 years working for Grand River Dam Authority In Oklahoma as a Biologist. While there, I mentored and taught students from grade school through college. Building relationships with my students and helping them achieve their goals is my passion. I love working with young people and am excited to have this incredible opportunity to begin my teaching career at Faith Life Academy.

Greetings!  I am humbled and honored to serve as Director of Education at Faith Life Academy.  My heart is for our students to come to know, love, and enjoy the Lord.  It’s a privilege for the teachers and staff to be able to speak into our students lives and point them to Christ who is the way. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart since 1990.  We have four daughters and two granddaughters.  My family has attended Faith Life Church since 1996.  In my BC (before children) days, I worked for AT&T Bell Labs in computer related ventures.  I home educated my children K-12 and loved it. One of my favorite verses is 3 John 4, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”  I look forward to pointing our students to truth in all that we do.

My background is in communications, sales, and nonprofits. I have been led to Faith Life Academy first as a parent of a student and now also to work as an Administrative Assistant. My husband and I have been married 11 years and we have one wonderful boy. I am full of gratitude for this school in the ways it honors God, develops our students, and serves our families in our community.
